1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all direct reservations made through the Villa Nepenthe website.
By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Booking Confirmation
A reservation becomes binding only after:
- The booking request has been accepted; and
- Any required payment has been received.
Villa Nepenthe reserves the right to refuse reservations at its discretion.
3. Payments
Payments are processed securely through approved payment providers.
The payment schedule displayed during the booking process forms part of the reservation agreement.
Failure to make required payments may result in cancellation of the reservation.
4. Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy displayed during the booking process and reservation confirmation applies to each booking.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed according to that cancellation policy.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
- Treat the property with care and respect
- Follow all house rules
- Respect neighbors and the local community
- Comply with maximum occupancy limits
- Avoid unlawful or disruptive activities
6. Property Condition and Damages
Guests are responsible for damage caused by themselves or members of their party beyond normal wear and tear.
Reasonable costs for repair, replacement, or additional cleaning may be charged where appropriate.
7. Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in and check-out times are communicated before arrival.
Unless otherwise agreed, guests must vacate the property by the stated check-out time.
8. Force Majeure
Villa Nepenthe shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Extreme weather events
- Government restrictions
- Utility failures
- Acts of war
- Public health emergencies
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Villa Nepenthe shall not be liable for:
- Loss of enjoyment
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss or theft of personal belongings
- Events beyond its reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion would be unlawful.
10. Accuracy of Information
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, Villa Nepenthe reserves the right to correct errors, omissions, pricing mistakes, or availability information.
11. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the operation of Villa Nepenthe.
